Business Visa requirements:-

• Valid passport with validity of more than six months. Provide photocopies of the first and the last page of the passport.
• Provide 2 sets of application forms duly signed by the applicant.
• 2 photographs with light background to be glued on the appropriate place on the visa application form.
• Covering letter from the applicant on the company’s letter head stating the designation, purpose, dates and duration of visit.
• Original invitation letter from the counterpart in Japan on their letter head giving details of the purpose of visit and dates of business meetings and agenda. The invitation should be faxed directly in the embassy also.
• Provide financial bank statements for the last 6 months and IT papers for the last 3 years.
• Copy of confirmed air ticket.

Tourist Visa requirements:-

• Valid passport with validity of more than six months. Provide photocopies of the first and the last page of the passport.
• Provide 2 sets of application form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
• 2 photographs with light background to be glued on the appropriate place on the visa application form.
• Covering letter from the applicant mentioning the purpose of visit.
• Confirmation of applicant’s hotel booking with exact check in and check out dates to be faxed directly in the embassy.
• Provide financial bank statements for the last 6 months and IT papers for the last 3 years.
• Copy of confirmed air ticket.

Medical Requirements:- Nil

Visa Fee:- 330 in cash.

Time Taken:- A minimum of 2 businesses would be allocated to process the visa.

Note:- 1. For fresh passport holders, embassy might ask for company’s financial papers and                  qualification papers of the applicant.
             2. The traveler might be asked to come in person.
